Kristin Fisher has joined the CNN Space and Defense Correspondent team on July 20, 2021. As the Space and Defence Correspondent for CNN, she has for covering all aspects of space, from NASA and the newly formed Space Force up until commercial space-related companies and the growth and advent of tourism to space. Kristin is the mother of two NASA astronauts. Kristin has grown up working in space, and has covered Trump and Biden Administration space policies for FOX News as White House Correspondent. The reporter also reported on the 2020 presidential race as well as the efforts of two administrations to fight the coronavirus. Additionally, she was a frequent traveler with President Trump as well as Vice President Trump frequently. It included a secret trip to Afghanistan. Prior to being hired by the channel in 2015, Kristin spent nearly a 10 years working her way up through local TV news markets which included Grand Junction, Colorado; Little Rock, Arkansas; and Washington, D.C. where she received one Emmy Award as a one-man-band reporter for the city's CBS affiliate. With her experience on the set, Kristin founded Field Mouse Films in 2014, which was a specialist in documentary style films for corporate clients, such as Uber as well as Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin holds an Bachelor of Science in Journalism which she received from Boston University. She lives with her husband at Washington, D.C., and is the mother of a 3-year-old daughter.
