Anushka appeared in the 2010 film "Badmash Company" with Shahid Kapoor Meiyang Chang, Vir Das. The movie received mixed reviews. Anushka played a role in a film called Band Baaja Baaraat with Ranveer, where she played the role of a middle-class who starts her wedding planning business. The film was well-received and was later a sleeper. Anushka finished her deal of three films together with Yash Raj Films after Band Baaja Baaraat.
